Creating a global healing movement-The Light Force Center.

On this exciting edition of Carob magazine Africa we talk to healer and founder of The Light Force-Centre Shayoon, we chat to her about life, work, music and explore ways of healing the mind, body and spirit naturally.

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: What is the most significant risk you’ve taken, and was it worth it?

Shayoon: The most significant risk I’ve taken was choosing to fully trust in my own path, even when it meant walking away from what was familiar or expected. Whether in my career, personal evolution, or healing journey, I’ve had to surrender to the unknown, believing that something greater was guiding me. It was absolutely worth it because every moment of uncertainty became a portal to transformation. Risk, when taken with intention, becomes a sacred leap toward alignment.

CAROB MAGAZINE: How do you handle self-doubt, and what advice would you give to others?

Shayoon: Self-doubt is just a reflection of the mind questioning the heart’s knowing. I handle it by stepping back, observing the fear without identifying with it, and then realigning with my truth. LightForce Healing, the self-healing modality I’ve developed with my husband over the last 14 years has been the single most powerful and effective tool for clearing self-doubt and clearing all the subconscious wounds and programming that cause it. My advice to others: honor your intuition, cultivate self-trust like a ritual, and remind yourself that every limitation is an illusion waiting to be transcended. You just need the tools.

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: What’s one thing you are proud of accomplishing but nobody would guess?

Shayoon: Beyond the visible successes, the most profound accomplishment is my inner work—learning how to truly heal, not just for myself but for others. The journey of breaking generational cycles, transforming pain into wisdom, and choosing love over fear in every moment is something I hold sacred. People may see the external manifestations, but the unseen work is where the true power lies..

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: If you could go back in time and give advice to your younger self, what would it be?

Shayoon: I would tell her: “You are already enough. Stop searching outside of yourself for validation. Every experience, whether blissful or painful, is sculpting you into the person you are destined to become. Trust the process, surrender to the divine timing, and know that the universe is always conspiring in your favour.” True bliss.

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: What’s the most important lesson you have learned from failure or setback?

Shayoon: Failure is not a dead-end; it’s a redirection. The moments where things seemingly “fall apart” are actually the universe making space for something more aligned. The lesson? Release attachment to how things should unfold and embrace the magic of what’s actually unfolding. The more we let go, the more we receive.

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be and why?

Shayoon: I would switch lives with an indigenous healer deep in the Amazon. Not for escape, but to experience the depth of presence, wisdom, and connection to nature that exists in their world. `Connection with the plants. There’s something profound about being in complete communion with the universe, untouched by societal conditioning. If it was someone from the past it would be Bob Marley. To experience what his life was like as an artist, dissolving division through music. Or Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and channel his wisdom of true Qawali music!

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: What’s the one thing that you believe is undervalued or overlooked in today’s society?

Shayoon: Silence. In a world that glorifies noise—constant stimulation, instant gratification, endless consumption—we’ve forgotten the power of stillness. True wisdom, healing, and clarity emerge from moments of deep silence. If we learned to honor stillness the way we honor success, we would be a much more conscious and connected society.

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: If you could create a new holiday or tradition, what would it be and how would people celebrate it?

Shayoon: I would create “Day of Alignment” – a global day where everyone disconnects from technology, reconnects with nature, and practices self-reflection. It would be a sacred pause from the rush of life, where people engage in meditation, self healing, gratitude, and acts of service. A day to realign with the soul’s purpose and remember what truly matters.

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: In terms of music, you have a collaboration with big artists, how did that come up?

Shayoon: Energy attracts energy. When you move with authenticity and a clear intention, the right people align with your path. Music, like healing, is vibrational, and when creative energies resonate, collaborations happen effortlessly. These moments were less about industry formulas and more about divine timing—Alignments that were meant to be. I also have been putting my passion for music on the back burner for too many years, and it’s time to release the art.

CAROB MAGAZINE AFRICA: As a healer, how would you describe the benefits of holistic healing?

Shayoon: Holistic healing is not just about treating symptoms; it’s about realigning the mind, body, and spirit into harmony. True healing happens when we address the root cause—emotional, energetic, and spiritual imbalances—not just the physical manifestations. It’s about remembering that we are already whole, and the journey is simply about removing the layers that make us forget that truth.
